Because “no shows” leave gaps in our schedule and can result in longer waiting times for patients, we ask for 24 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment.
We have a physician on-call 24/7 to help our current patients with any serious medical problems. Please call the office and leave a message. The on-call doctor will get back to you as quickly as possible. Please make sure your phone will accept blocked calls as the physicians do block their personal numbers.
If you have a life-threatening emergency, please call 911 for immediate assistance.
We understand that something unexpected may happen and cause you to be late for your appointment. We’ll make every effort to fit you in as quickly as possible. On occasion, we may have to reschedule your appointment.
We’ll gladly take your requests for prescription renewals over the phone. If the doctor is able to renew your prescription without seeing you, it will be called in to your pharmacy within 24 hours. Please be aware of when your prescriptions will run out and try to renew them before the last day.
We work primarily with Hackensack Meridian Health Palisades Medical Center Laboratory. Please check with your insurance carrier to see that it (or whichever lab you choose) is covered.
Many tests take a week or more before results are ready (pap smear results take at least two weeks); but it is our policy to inform you as quickly as possible, especially when there are abnormal results. Please make sure we have up-to-date contact information for you.
